HOMESCHOOL GYMNASTICS
The Key City Homeschool Gymnastics Program is a recreational gymnastics class, designed for school age children. Participants will be taught fundamental movement patterns and skills that are part of physical literacy, transferring into both gymnastics’ skills, as well as fundamental sport skills. Key City Homeschool Gymnastics Program focuses on building confidence in the athlete’s ability to perform fundamental movement patterns as well as developing a strong foundation of basic gymnastics skills. Each class will begin with a focus on physical literacy movement skills and games, which will transfer into the traditional gymnastics portion of the class. Each class is streamed according to age of participants.
Children’s progress will be measured using Gymnastics Canada’s CANGYM program. Every athlete will receive a report card at the end of each session documenting their progress.
TEEN GIRLS GYMNASTICS
Teen Girls Gymnastics promotes the development of healthy, active and confident youth and young adults. We recognize that girls needs differ and change as they mature, therefore our teen gymnastics programs focus on creating a positive, relaxed, and inclusive gymnastics environment.
The Teen Girls program focuses on the athlete’s mental and physical development, along with the gymnast’s self-confidence and personal growth as an athlete and a young adult.
